Un reciente artículo aparecido en la revista International Journal of Environment and Health pone de manifiesto que las medicinas ayurvédicas contienen concentraciones potencialmente peligrosas de metales pesados, incluido plomo, talio y arsénico.

Heavy metal poisoning from Ayurvedic traditional medicines: an emerging problem?
Paul I. Dargan, Indika B. Gawarammana, John R.H. Archer, Ivan M. House, Debbie Shaw, David Wood
International Journal of Environment and Health (2008), volumen 2, número 3-4, páginas 463 – 474.

  1. Thanks for your thoughts on my Ayurvedic medicine post. In one sense, I think you’re right, it would make sense to investigate the positive aspects of this form of medicine, but when practitioners are deliberately adding deadly metals it confounds any ethical trials one might undertake.
